What do I serve with them?

Air fryer roasted cherry tomatoes are so versatile, and they taste just as good as oven roasted tomatoes.

Add them to pasta dishes; they are amazing when added to pesto pasta, cacio e pepe, or spaghetti marinara.

They are perfect as a snack on toast and with a little goats cheese.

We’ve even been known to add them to our sriracha aioli, sour cream and chives dressing, and garlic dip.

Do I have to peel roasted tomatoes?

No, you don’t.

In fact, we’d recommend that you don’t.

The skins are delicious, but, maybe most importantly, they allow you to pick them out of the air fryer basket and place them on a plate.

The insides of roasted cherry tomatoes become very soft and they would fall apart without their skins.

How does an air fryer work?

We love the simplicity of air frying.

An air fryer circulates heat from above and pushes it all around the food, imitating deep frying without the need for copious amounts of oil.

Which air fryer is best to use?

Like cars, televisions, and houses, different people will prefer different brands or models.

We don’t profess to have tried all of the brands and all of the models.

We just wouldn’t have time!

This is the air fryer we use, it’s super easy to use and all the different recipes we’ve cooked on it have turned out great.

Yes, you can!

And you can air fry grape tomatoes or Roma tomatoes.

We chose small cherry tomatoes, but the most important thing to do is to make sure they are ripe and fresh tomatoes.

Play with the flavors

We’ve used our Italian seasoning blend

But you could use fresh herbs and a little fresh basil to add flavor.

Try sprinkling Indian curry spice mix or Cajun seasoning.

Add garlic powder to add more flavor.

How do I store air fryer tomatoes?

You can store your air fryer roasted tomatoes in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.

They also freeze for up to 3 months, although we have to be honest and say that we prefer freshly cooked tomatoes.
