We love to use our Cajun spice mix on sweet potato fries, sweet potato wedges, you can sprinkle it on pasta dishes, add flavor to our veggie sausage and bean casserole, or add it to our chipotle dip to give it a new flavor profile.

It’s perfect on all kinds of veggies, green bell peppers, red peppers, and butternut squash all taste great with a sprinkling of Cajun seasoning.

Making our homemade Cajun seasoning recipe is easy if you follow our simple instructions.

For a rough Cajun mix, grind the peppercorns and add spices to a mixing bowl, if you prefer a smooth seasoning, then add the spices to a grinder.

Process shots, photo one, add paprika, oregano, onion powder, cayenne powder, & salt; photo two, black peppercorns, red chili flakes, garlic powder, & thyme; photo three, mix thoroughly together.

Add paprika, dried oregano, onion powder, cayenne pepper, kosher salt, black peppercorns, red chili flakes, garlic powder, and dried thyme.

Process until they are ground and you have the perfect blend of spices.

Use immediately or store in an airtight container or spice jar in a dark place.
