Why not eat them as a snack with your favorite dip?

They are delicious dipped in ranch dressing, sour cream, chives, sriracha with mayo, or a garlic dip.

You can also try this variation easy green beans with shallots.

How to pick the best fresh green beans

Fresh green beans should be bright green and firm.

They shouldn’t be floppy, wrinkled, or brown.

So, if they don’t look right, don’t buy them.

There’s no need to soak them.

All you need to do is to rinse them, wash any dirt off, and then dry them before tossing them.

What is the best air fryer?

There are many different brands of air fryers.

It’s a personal choice, and of course, we haven’t tried every single brand and model of the air fryer.

But this is the air fryer we love; it’s the best one we’ve used (and we’ve used a few).

Play with the flavors

We’ve shown you a simple green beans recipe, but if you like, you can play with the flavors.

Toss with garlic powder or spice them up with some paprika or red pepper flakes.

Try them with Italian seasoning, cajun seasoning, or Indian spice mix.

After cooking, squeeze a little fresh lemon juice over them.

Give them a cheesy, crunchy taste.

Mix panko bread crumbs and finely grated vegetarian Parmesan cheese together.

Dip the green beans in beaten egg and then roll them in the cheese mixture before placing them in the air fryer basket.

And if you’re looking for other green bean recipes, try crispy green beans.

How do I store them?

Store any leftover green beans in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

How do I reheat cooked green beans?

It’s easy to reheat green beans.

Spray with a little olive oil cooking spray, then place the green beans in the air fryer and air fry for approximately 4 minutes at 375°F/190°C.
