Creamy Sriracha with mayo

Deliciously creamy with a subtle kick of spice, sriracha with mayo is super easy to make and tastes so good! We first tasted Sriracha sauce in Thailand, we couldn’t get enough of it! We loved it so much that when we returned home, we knew we had to include it in our dishes, so we created a version of the popular sriracha with mayo dipping sauce and we’ve had the thumbs up from all our friends and family!

What is creamy Sriracha made of?

This quick and easy sriracha with mayo sauce is made of 6 simple ingredients.

  • Full fat mayonnaise – you could use light mayonnaise, but we prefer the full fat flavor.
  • Sriracha we use the Flying Goose brand when we don’t have time to make homemade sriracha sauce.
  • Garlic powder – you can use as much or as little, depending on how much you like garlic.
  • Fresh lime juice – add the quantity that you feel is right for you.
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

What is sriracha sauce?

Sriracha sauce is a dipping sauce that originates from Thailand.

It’s pronounced ‘sih-RAH-chə’ and is allegedly named after the Thai lady who created it who lived in a town called Si Racha.

The Thai version of Sriracha sauce is far runnier than the version you get from the rest of the world.

When we visited Thailand, we had sriracha sauce on omelettes for breakfast, used it as a dipping sauce and a bartender even made us a cocktail with it in!

How can I make sriracha with mayo vegan?

It’s very easy to make sriracha with mayo vegan because the only ingredient in it that isn’t suitable for vegans is the mayonnaise.

All you must do is to use vegan mayonnaise and then, hey presto, you’ve got vegan sriracha with mayo!

What can I serve it with?

Sriracha with mayo is so versatile and you can use it in so many ways.

Dip tortilla chips and vegetables in it spread it in tacos, have thick layers of it on a seitan burger, or dip sweet potato French fries in it.
