You’ll need all the ingredients listed in the photograph below.
What do I serve air fryer loaded fries with?
Air fryer loaded fries are great as a snack on their own, but they also make a great side dish for a main meal.
Serve them with sweetcorn fritters, mashed potato fritters, or aloo tikki (Indian spiced fritters).
They are an amazing addition to a veggie burger or vegan chicken burger.
You certainly won’t go hungry!
Some of our friends love to add ranch dressing, sour cream and chives, or even go for double loaded cheese fries and drizzle blue cheese dressing over them.
However, you like to eat your fries, you can be sure you’re going to love them!
Which air fryer should I use?
You don’t need a specific air fryer to make this recipe.
We’ve used different air fryers over time but couldn’t possibly claim to have used them all.
This is the one we like, it works perfectly for us, but shop around and find the one that’s right for you.
What are dirty fries?
If you’ve ever eaten loaded cheese fries, then you’ll know they are similar to dirty fries.
Dirty fries are seasoned French fries loaded with veggie bacon, onion, bell pepper, tomato, green onions, and oodles of melted cheese.

Can I use frozen French fries?
Yes!
We’re a huge fan of simple, easy, and delicious recipes.
In fact, we’ve deliberately used frozen French fries to make these air fryer loaded fries as simple as possible!
Naturally, you can use fresh potatoes if you prefer, you’ll just need to adjust the cooking time accordingly.

How to make air fryer loaded fries with step by step instructions
Making our air fryer loaded fries is easy if you follow our simple instructions.
Preheat your air fryer according to the packet instructions.
Now, add the frozen fries to a mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and add vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, cajun seasoning, and kosher salt.
Then, using your hands, toss to evenly combine.
Now, add the fries to your air fryer basket and air fry for approximately 20 minutes.
While the French fries are cooking in the air fryer, add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat.
When hot, add onion, vegetarian bacon pieces, and red bell pepper, and fry until cooked, and set aside.
2 or 3 minutes before the fries are cooked, reheat the bacon, onion, and pepper mixture.
Remove the cooked fries from the air fryer basket and place them in an ovenproof dish.
Evenly add the veggie bacon, red bell pepper, and onion mixture on top of the fries.
Next, add tomatoes, green onions, and then scatter the grated cheese on top.
Place the dish in the air fryer basket and cook until the cheese has melted over the fries.
Remove, serve immediately and enjoy!

Air fryer dirty fries recipe
Utensils
Ingredients
- 1¼ cups Frozen oven fries
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbs Vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 6 oz Vegetarian bacon pieces
- 1 Red bell pepper washed, stalk and seeds removed, then cubed
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 2½ oz Cheddar cheese grated
- 4 Green onions (spring onions) chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer according to package instructions
- Add your frozen fries to your air fryer basket and drizzle olive oil over them, then add vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, kosher salt, and cajun seasoning. Using your hands, toss until the fries are evenly coated. Cook according to package instructions1¼ cups Frozen oven fries, 1 tbs Vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp Kosher salt, 2 tsp Cajun seasoning, 1 tbsp Olive oil
- While the fries are in the air fryer, add olive oil to a skillet, add vegetarian bacon pieces, red bell pepper, and onion, and fry until cooked and set aside6 oz Vegetarian bacon pieces, 1 Red bell pepper, 1 Onion, 1 tbsp Olive oil
- A couple of minutes before the fries are ready, reheat the bacon, onion, and pepper mixture, then add it to the cooked fries, and mix to combine evenly
- Now, place the fries in an ovenproof dish, add your tomato, cheese, and green onions and cook until the cheese has melted1 Tomato, 2½ oz Cheddar cheese, 4 Green onions (spring onions)
- Remove the dish from the air fryer, serve immediately and enjoy!

Add your favorite toppings to make them your own Storage
Store your fries in the fridge for up to 3 days, they are not suitable for freezing Monitor your air fryer
Depending on the brand and the size of your air fryer basket, your frozen French fries may take less time or longer, so adapt accordingly
