But you don’t have to eat it just with your favorite
This incredibly easy garlic aioli sauce is delicious with roasted veggies.
Try roasting a veggie tray of bell peppers, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, sweet potato wedges, and any of your favorite veggies.
Dip your fries in it; we dip our sweet potato fries and even our peri peri fries in it – it’s so good!
What is aioli?
Aioli is quite similar to mayonnaise.
Mayonnaise is made with raw eggs, neutral oil such as sunflower oil, and vinegar.
Aioli is also made with raw eggs but is made with olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic.
Is this the same as Domino’s garlic and herb dip?
Nearly.
Just add some dried parsley into the mix, and you’ve got it.
How simple is that?
And it isn’t anywhere near as expensive!
Do I need any special equipment to make this dipping sauce?
No, you don’t. All you’ll need is a small bowl and a garlic press; that’s it.
There’s a very good chance you have both of those in your kitchen already.
We’ve kept this as simple as possible, as not everyone has a food processor or the inclination to use it all the time!
Is pizza aioli really garlicky?
Yes, it is. But you can always tone down the garlic levels.
Simply reduce the number of garlic cloves that you use in the sauce.
Make it vegan
The only ingredient that is not vegan friendly is mayonnaise.
So simply replace regular mayonnaise with vegan mayo.
Simple!
How do I store it?
Garlic aioli sauce stores well.
Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
While it is possible to freeze it, we don’t recommend it as the mayo will break down when thawing.
