How to make this Grape Salad Recipe with step-by-step instructions

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

You can use an electric hand mixer or good old elbow grease with a wooden spoon.

Add fresh grapes to the cream cheese mixture in the large bowl and toss to coat them.

Transfer the grape salad to a serving bowl and refrigerate it until you are ready to serve. It doesn’t need to be covered, but feel free to put a lid or cover it in plastic wrap.

Toss to coat the grapes evenly. Transfer to a serving bowl, scatter walnuts, and brown sugar evenly.

Before serving, sprinkle brown sugar over the top of the salad and scatter the chopped walnuts or chopped pecans over the top of the red and green grape salad.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 pounds seedless red grapes
  • 2 pounds seedless green grapes
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup walnuts and/or pecans chopped

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, vanilla, and sugar, until smooth. Add the grapes and toss to coat. Transfer to a serving bowl and refrigerate until you are ready to serve. Before serving, sprinkle brown sugar and scatter the nuts over the top.

  2. Substitute Greek yogurt: You can substitute sour cream for plain Greek yogurt. We recommend full-fat yogurt for that thick, rich, creamy flavor!

Remove the stems; they can become a choking hazard for children. Wash the grapes thoroughly and dry them with paper towels.
