There are a lot of different types of peanut butter out there, and it can be tough to decide which one to use in your cookies.

Do you want a smooth or crunchy texture? A natural or artificial peanut butter? What about the sugar content?

Here’s a breakdown of some of the most popular types of peanut butter, to help you choose the best one for your cookie recipe:

Smooth vs. Crunchy: Smooth creamy peanut butter will give your cookies a creamier texture, while crunchy peanut butter will add a bit of extra texture and bite.

Natural vs. Artificial: Natural peanut butter is made with just peanuts and salt, while artificial peanut butter may contain added sugar, hydrogenated oils, and other ingredients. If you’re looking for a healthier option, go for natural peanut butter.
