How does an air fryer work?

There’s a lot of hype around air fryers, and they’ve become popular kitchen appliances in recent years.

But what is an air fryer, and how does it work?

An air fryer is a small kitchen appliance that uses hot air to cook food.

The hot air cooks the food quickly and evenly, without the need for oil or butter.

This results in food that is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Air fryers work by circulating hot air around the food.

The heat from the hot air cooks the food quickly and evenly, while the fan circulates the air to keep the food from burning.

Some models also have a heating element at the top of the appliance that helps to circulate the heat even more.

Choose quality chocolate chips

If you’re making double chocolate chip cookies, it’s because you love chocolate – right?

So don’t scrimp on the chocolate chips, but good quality chocolate chips.

Our favorite brand is Ghiradelli but choose what you enjoy eating.

Make ahead for cost effective baking

When we make air fried cookies, we always make a double batch.

This makes them super cost effective.

You don’t have to cook them all at the same time because you can freeze the cookie dough.

We recommend freezing the cookie dough in portion sizes.

So, whenever you have a cookie craving, you can just pull out the dough and get air frying.

There is no need to thaw the dough either, which means if you have unexpected guests, and you want to bake air fryer cookies it’s easy.

You can treat them to homemade cookies in next to no time!

This is a really savvy way to save money and not rely on expensive store bought cookies.

How do I store leftover cookies?

Your homemade air fried double chocolate chip cookies will keep stored in an airtight container for up to a week.

You can also freeze them for up to 3 months.
