How to make peanut butter chocolate chip cookies with step by step instructions
It’s easy to make our chocolate chip peanut butter cookie recipe if you follow our simple instructions.

Preheat your oven to 350°F/180°C.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then set aside.
Now, using either a stand mixer or handheld electric mixer, cream butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
Then, gradually mix in the flour mixture, then add vanilla, and the eggs one by one.
When fully combined, stir in the chocolate chips.
Using a scoop, scoop the cookie dough into balls, approximately 1½ tablespoons in, and place them on prepared baking sheets, approximately 2 inches apart.
Then, place them in the oven and bake until they are golden brown, approximately 10 – 12 minutes.
When cooked, remove them from the oven and leave them to cool on the cookie sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
You could add extra chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips to the tops of your cookies.

Ingredients
- 2½ cup All purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 stick Unsalted butter softened
- ½ cup Granulated sugar
- 1 cup Light brown sugar
- ¾ cup Smooth peanut butter
- 3 large Eggs 2 whole eggs plus 1 egg yolk
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 cups Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F/180°C

- Using a scoop approx. 1½ tablespoons, scoop the dough mixture onto a prepared baking sheet, approx. 2 inches apart, and flatten slightly with the palm of your hands. Bake until golden brown, approx. 10 – 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave for a few minutes, if you like, add additional chocolate chips to the top of the cookies, then transfer to a cooling rack. Enjoy your cookies!
