Why you’ll love this easy recipe

  • Quick and easy, this family favorite air fryer recipe will be on your table in 30 minutes.
  • They make a great appetizer for game night, gatherings, or late night snacks!
  • The ingredients are pantry staples that you’ve probably already got.
  • If you like Wingstop buffalo fries, then these are just as good at a fraction of the cost!
  • All the ingredients are 100% vegetarian.

Whenever we make buffalo fries in the air fryer, we have to batch cook them, they go REALLY quickly, and everyone loves them!

What ingredients do I need?

You’ll need all the ingredients shown in the photograph below.

Ingredients needed to make air fryer buffalo fries, blue cheese, black pepper, salt, olive oil, hot wing sauce, green onions, French fries, chives, cheddar cheese, Cayenne pepper, and ranch dressing.

What do I serve buffalo fries with?

Our air fried buffalo fries are a good standalone comfort meal.

But they’re even better when served with a veggie burger or a vegan chicken burger, both are delicious recipes.

They are great alongside air fryer frozen onion rings or air fryer Mexican street corn.

What are buffalo fries?

Buffalo fries are French fries covered with buffalo sauce, melted cheese, ranch dressing, scallions, and chives.

There are different variations, some are made with chicken breasts or bacon, but naturally, as this is a vegetarian website, we don’t use these ingredients!

Buffalo potatoes are also delicious, you just need to remember to cut them into bite sized pieces.

Which is the best air fryer to use?

This is a difficult question to answer.

Obviously, there is no way that we can test every model of air fryer, that’d be impossible.

What we can do though, is tell you the air fryer we’re loving at the moment.

This is the model below, we like it because it’s quiet, you can see the progress of the cooking, and it cooks well.

Instant Pot Vortex 4-in-1 Air Fryer 5.7L

Our favorite air fryer is the Instant pot Vortex and we like this for its intuitive display, the filter stops lasting food smells, and you can see your food cooking through the glass panel and light function.

Can I use frozen fries?

Of course you can!

Sometimes you just want an easy recipe.

There’s nothing wrong with grabbing a bag of frozen fries from the freezer and using them instead of making homemade fries.

How do I store air fryer buffalo fries?

You can store your buffalo fries covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
