Preheat your oven to 400°F/205°C.

In a large bowl, toss your halved Brussels sprouts in olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper, until they are fully coated. You could add garlic powder if you are a real lover of garlic, but the Sriracha does contain garlic.

Place your Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a sheet pan and roast them for approximately 25 – 30 minutes, using a spatula to turn them halfway through.

While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare your sauce. Mix Sriracha, honey, soy sauce, and fresh lemon juice.

When your roasted Brussels sprouts are cooked, toss them in the sauce and serve.

When the Brussels sprouts are ready they’ll have turned golden brown, remove them from the oven, transfer them to a large bowl, and drizzle the Sriracha mixture over until they’re fully coated.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussel sprouts trimmed and cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F/205°C.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss your Brussels sprouts, olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper until they are fully coated. Then place them in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • While they are cooking, mix together Sriracha, honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice.

Preheat your air fryer to 390°F/200°C.

Spray your air fryer basket with olive oil or avocado oil.

Place your prepared Brussels sprouts in a single layer in your air fryer basket and cook until the sprouts have turned golden brown and crispy, approximately 12 minutes, turning halfway through.

Can I use frozen Brussels sprouts?

While it’s fine to use frozen Brussels sprouts, they don’t turn crispy like fresh Brussels sprouts so.

We recommend only using frozen if you can’t find fresh for these spicy Brussels sprouts.
