The perfect strawberry milkshake recipe
If you’re looking for the perfect strawberry milkshake recipe to make sure that your milkshake is bursting with flavour, then you’ve now found it!
There’s something about strawberry milkshakes that just transport you to sunny days and happy times.
Fresh juicy ripe strawberries make all of the difference, it doesn’t matter how good processed milkshakes at fast food chains are, they just can’t replicate the fresh taste of this milkshake recipe.
What milk should I use when making strawberry milkshakes?
This is personal preference. Some people use full fat milk because that’s their favourite.
Personally, I normally drink skimmed milk or 1% for our American visitors but you can easily use 2% also.
There’s no right or wrong (and don’t let anyone tell you there is) just use the milk that you prefer most.
Do you use ice-cream in this strawberry milkshake recipe?
We haven’t used ice cream for this recipe as we wanted to keep the milkshake nice and light tasting.
Ice cream is great but this time we’ve gone for light and refreshing.
Can you use frozen strawberries?
Yes you most certainly can.
We’ve used fresh strawberries, delicious deep red ripe strawberries but frozen strawberries would work well if you are struggling to find fresh.
How do I make this milkshake from scratch?
You’ll probably realise by now, that all of our recipes are very easy to follow and to make.
If you follow our step by step instructions then you really can’t go wrong.
For our international visitors, you can convert into cups by pressing the toggle button underneath the ingredients list.
