A pan of melted butter and chocolate.
Blitz the Oreo cookies in a food processor, then add to melted butter.

Tip the Oreo crumbs into a deep-dish pie plate and press the crumb mixture down on the bottom and the sides of the 9-inch pie dish or springform pan.

To press the bottom down, use something like a measuring cup, this will give a flat bottom.

Now chill the Oreo crust in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Oreo Pie Crust

This Oreo Pie Crust is my go-to base for cream pies, cheesecakes, and no-bake desserts because it takes just two ingredients and zero oven time. You blend whole Oreos, filling and all, into fine crumbs, mix them with melted butter, and press everything into a pie dish before chilling. The result is a firm, buttery, chocolatey crust that holds its shape beautifully once sliced. I love how it works with virtually any creamy filling you can think of, from classic chocolate pudding to tangy lemon cream.

Notes

Here are a few things I’ve learned from making this crust more times than I can count.
Use a food processor for the finest crumbs: The food processor gives you the most uniform, fine crumbs that press together into a much sturdier crust in seconds than hand-crushing ever could, so stick to this method if you can.
Press the crumbs firmly and evenly: Use the flat bottom of a measuring cup to really pack the crumbs into the dish, especially up the sides, so the crust doesn’t crumble when you slice.
Keep the filling layer in mind: If you’re using a very wet or heavy filling, press the crust a little thicker on the bottom to give it extra support.
Don’t skip the chill time: The 30 minutes in the fridge is what transforms a loose crumb mixture into a firm, sliceable crust, so don’t rush it.
Freeze for easy make-ahead prep: Wrap the unfilled crust tightly and freeze it for up to 3 months so it’s ready to fill whenever you need it.
Store filled pie covered: Once filled, always cover the pie tightly in the fridge so the crust stays firm and doesn’t absorb any moisture from the filling or the fridge itself. This way, the crust holds up well for up to 3 days.
