So, we created a vegan version of this household’s delicious dressing, and we have to admit, it tastes so good!
You’ll make your vegan Caesar dressing in just 5 minutes!

What is Caesar dressing?
In traditional Caesar dressing, you’ll find garlic, anchovy paste, freshly squeezed lemon, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, Parmigiano-Reggiano, salt, and black pepper.
Naturall,y being a vegan version, we won’t use all of these ingredients!
How can Caesar dressing be vegan?
We’ve recreated this classic Caesar dressing using vegan mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, capers, nutritional yeast, freshly squeezed lemon juice, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
And our version still retains the fresh, fishy, garlicky taste that Caesar salad dressing has.

Nutrition
Does Caesar dressing have anchovies?
Yes, the traditional version does, but our vegan Caesar dressing doesn’t contain any anchovies.
We substitute anchovies with capers.
What are capers?
Capers are immature green, unripe flower buds that come from the bush Capparis spinosa, hence ‘capers.’
After picking, they are usually pickled in vinegar, or they’re preserved in salt.
We use them in our Caesar dressing as they have a salty taste reminiscent of anchovies.
Can I use bottled lemon juice in this recipe?
When you make our vegan Caesar dressing, it has to be fresh.
When you squeeze fresh lemon juice, not only is the flavor far superior to using shop-bought, but the aroma is amazing.
Store-bought just can’t beat a freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Our vegan Caesar dressing goes perfectly with our delicious vegan chicken patty.
Does Caesar dressing have dairy?
Traditional Caesar dressing contains eggs in the mayonnaise, but it’s easily made vegan-friendly by using vegan mayo.
So this means that our creamy vegan Caesar dressing is dairy-free.
How do I store it?
You can store your vegan Caesar dressing in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to a week.
We hope you enjoy making our vegan Caesar dressing, and we’d love to know how you got on with it.
