Banoffee Pie is the perfect dessert for almost any occasion, whether it’s a cozy family dinner or a fun party with friends. Its irresistible blend of sweet caramel, fresh bananas, and creamy whipped topping on a crunchy graham cracker crust will have everyone asking for seconds!

I’ve making this pie for over 40 years, and you’ll love how simple it is to make, yet so impressive to serve – it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser that brings smiles and complete satisfaction!

1. Start by placing the graham crackers in a food processor. Pulse them until they turn into fine crumbs that resemble sand grains. This is the foundation of your pie, so make sure those crumbs are perfectly fine for the best texture.

PRE THE CRUST

2. Add the melted butter to the crumbs and mix until well combined. Transfer this mixture to a 9-inch pie dish, and then press the crumbs firmly down on the bottom and up the sides of the pie plate.

ADD & PRESS

3. Refrigerate the crust for about an hour until it hardens. This step is crucial for a firm and crunchy crust that holds its shape.

CHILL

4. After the crust has set, spread the caramel sauce over the bottom. Then layer sliced bananas on top of the caramel, followed by the remaining caramel.

LAYER

5. Put the pie back in the fridge for another hour. This helps the layers to set and meld their flavors together.
