3. Using a stand mixer or handheld electric mixer, cream unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar, and on medium speed, mix until light and fluffy.
4. Then, add your egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Next, on low speed, gradually mix in your flour mixture until fully combined. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips.
5. Using a cookie scoop, scoop the cookie dough into balls, approximately 1.5 tablespoons large. Place the cookie dough balls on a prepared baking sheet approximately 2 inches apart.
