This alcohol free whiskey sour mocktail is a great idea for designated drivers, dry January or if you've given up the booze. It's absolutely delicious and looks so classy!

50mlZero proof whiskey
50mlFreshly squeezed lemon juice
30g Egg white
Take your cocktail shaker and add to it 50ml of zero proof whiskey, then 50ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice, followed by 25ml simple syrup (sugar syrup), followed by 30g of egg white - don't add any ice at this stage
Firmly place the lid on your cocktail shaker and shake as hard as you can for 30 seconds, this is a key stage in the recipe as it's this shaking that will give you the extra frothy top
Once you've done that, then it's time to add a handful of ice to the shaker and once again give it a good shake, you'll feel the shaker getting really cold. Shake for approximately 30 - 45 seconds
Then remove the lid and double strain your non alcoholic whiskey sour through a Hawthorne strainer and a fine strainer and pour into your glass
Garnish with a maraschino cherry or a slice of lemon
