EASY REINDEER CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Perfect for Christmas parties, cookie swaps, or a fun activity with the kids, these cookies are sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face. 

1. Start by preheating your oven to 180ºC (356ºF)

PREHEAT THE OVEN

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the granulated sugar and softened butter using an electric mixer until the mixture is soft and fluffy. This is the base of your cookie dough, so make sure it’s well combined.

CREAM TOGETHER

3. Next, beat the egg and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.

BEAT IN

4. Once your wet ingredients are mixed, it’s time to add the all-purpose flour and salt. Mix these in with a spoon just until combined to avoid overworking the dough.

ADD THE FLOUR

5. Then, transfer the dough to a working surface and flatten it into a ½-inch thick rectangle. Cut the dough into 2-inch x ½ inch rectangles, which will form the faces of your reindeer.
