Add hashbrowns, onions, & mushroom soup to a mixing bowl.
Add melted butter, sour cream, thyme, slat, & pepper.
Thoroughly mix the ingredients together.
Transfer into an ovenproof dish & top with half the cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes, remove from the oven & scatter remaining cheese, then bake for a further 10 minutes.
Serve immediately & enjoy!
